Has freight slowed down that much since the 4th of July? Does it look like it's short term?

Well, I am in my first year, so I can't say for sure..have heard that the week of the 4th is always a bit screwy, but it picks back up. I dont know about US/RAT divisions but I can speak for PLD Div, I had 7 loads last week, and already am going to be on 5th load this week in the a.m..I have been very busy past two weeks!

Glass is going strong right now. Looks like I'll be over here for another week. The gave me a load to Houston that will keep me out over the weekend. They gave me a choice so that was very decent of them.

I saw 2 Maverick trucks running IH 35 between Austin and San Antonio. One was glass headed South, the other was a flat running North. I'm hoping that since I'm from that area once I get my own truck I'll be running it more times than not. Hey, a guy can dream right? :yes2557:

I wouldn't say that it's slow....just unpredictable lately. I have been certain that I would reload somewhere and they throw a curve ball at me to go somewhere else. Doesn't really matter to me as long as I stay busy....and I have been.
