I don't want to take the bus but i will more than likely have to take the bus. Airline tickets aren't that cheap and i also looked into rending a car but that is expensive also.

 

I flew there. Maverick will reimburse you what they would've spent on a bus ticket. It's worth the 100 bucks it will cost you in the end. Good luck too ya, keep us posted.

Greyhound has all new buses which are pretty nice I hear but...... the passengers you might have to sit by are another story, lol.

Sometimes even when we drink enough the heat can still cause our electrolytes to get out of balance and cause us to become sick. You might try a vitamin supplement, if you aren't already using one, to keep you in balance. Just remember that if your urine output is good and clear you are getting enough fluids. If urine production slows down and it becomes very dark then that might call for a Dr. visit. Be safe and drive careful.

 

Well so much for taking my own advice lol. Securing and tarping my load in Sweetwater and let heat exhaustion sneak up on me darn near passed out. Luckily two old school drivers from Schilli and Dent helped me out. Couldnt thank them enough. Truly saved my #####. Becareful guys this heat will sneak up on ya when you least expect it to. My fault,hadnt been drinking enough water,you have to hydrate very well even on days you dont load to stay ahead of this heat. I hadnt been drinking enough obviously and it bit me today.
