yeah Bishop, there are plenty of war stories to be heard in the driver's lounge at NLR... If you want to find some entertainment, while there, that is a place to go LOL.

Things will get a little better for you in the second week when they move you over to the Galloway Hotel. But, the best thing that you can do is study all of your notes and know the material in and out up and down. That is what you are there for, and the reason there is not alot as far as entertainment is concerned. They want you focused on getting through Maverick Orientation and Securement Training. So, focus on that and time will fly by. Then the real work begins.....

yep. usually when you're watching tv and the conversation is between 2 drivers that are on either side of you, talking across you and over the volume

one of my favorite lines is I just want to see what the right side of the Swift trucks looks like.

2 . Here's Your helpful hint of the day. If they object in front of you keeps getting larger you are going faster than they are so move over and pass.

    3. Did my SMV symbol falloff the back again.

    4. I make so much per mile if I drove as fast as you did it would put me in a higher tax bracket.

Watched Xmen, Captain America, and True Grit yesterday. Slept in until 0830 and then went up and had breakfast. Then at 10:00 there was a church service put on by truck stop ministries. It was excellent.
I have spent the rest of the day cleaning out my truck and re-organizing.
When I was cleaning my windshield, I moved my gps to find a nice long hair line crack that was covered mostly by my gps and prepass. Will have to deal with it next week...fun.......
