Was thinking of Maverick out here in So. Cal. So you think they are a fair outfit? Trucking is trucking, there will always be problems but are they fair?

Picked up a load of gypsum board at temple inland in Cumberland City TN.
I had to back into bay one. It has a culvert in front of it which made it a challenge.
It is very tight as it is...similar to picking up shingles in Maryland.
But I got it in perfectly. Then the fun of tarping it in 100 deg heat.
I am glad I keep plenty of cold water on the truck. Also, the wet wash cloth kept in the refrigerator really does the trick.
Will head out on Monday morning to deliver to Carter Lumber in Libson Ohio.
    Then who knows where!

    MtDewMan Thanks this.

Hey Jim. I don't remember how the docks are numbered but not the 1st one you come to, but the last dock is the hardest to hit. (that might be no 1) You don't have as much real estate to work with as the other docks.

There is one place mav picks up at that is even tighter than those. I think this is in MS if I remember right.

You are correct! It was the last one...but numbered #1
you have a big drain right in front of it so you can not get lined up on it.
Then you have the wall also to contend with.
I just took my time and did my minor corrections to get it in there straight without scraping the sides.
I am pulling an 102" trailer now...so no room for error. Can't wait until I get to the even tighter one:biggrin_25524:

    MtDewMan Thanks this.
