I live in Knoxville so it is good to know that there are loads in this area:) I am thinking about going to Maverick over Averitt and US XPRESS.

Yes, I have read many threads and the pay and great reviews of the company are what is making it is easy to pick Maverick. I know that all companies have their good and bad but I have read much more good about Maverick. Thanks for your great insight over the last few years!

Made my delivery to MCR in Morristown Tn this morning. There was one Maverick there that spent the night. One other Maverick and a PS showed up in front of me. Once they checked us in they moved us very quickly. I headed down to Knoxville at the Freightliner dealer and I am here using their wi-fi as we type. The last time I was down in this area I sat for 5 hours, so this is a good place to get the truck worked on as I would have probably been sitting the same amount of time anyway.

How much room or storage space is there in the trainer trucks? I'm trying to figure out what kind of luggage to use. I have the typical roller airline luggage with the stiff sides that's probably 2.5-3 feet tall, I'm thinking that might be a bit bulky. I was thinking of running to a Army/Navy Surplus and picking a duffle bag. I figured it could be rolled up and smashed in a corner while not in use. What did you guys use?

You definitely want to bring duffle bags because you will need to stow it on the truck. I brought two with me. There used to be some good lists on here on what to bring. Have not seen one for a while.

Thanks Jim, I have a smaller one already I'll probably use for laundry and shower stuff. I'm going to see what the surplus store has in stock as well.
