He said you and hubby were very nice. He also told me that Santa imitates him....lol.
I took 278 over to 495. Went under the Brooklyn Bridge. Never been that close to Manhattan before.l The buildings looked neat all lit up.
After my drop, took the GW back and only got slowed down for about 8 minutes or so.
Got sent to the port of Delaware to pick up a coil going to East Chicago In. I drove to the Flying J at Breezewood, took a shower and was in bed by 1830. Got up at 12:15 and was home by 0720.
My transmission locked up on me again in 9th gear. I had to pull over to the side, turn off the power and reset everything. This was supposed to have been fixed by Freighliner when they replaced my Wiring Harness. Not.....lol
Will leave tomorrow evening after my 35 hr reset and drive up to Gary. After my 10 hr break, I will still be able to deliver befor 10:00. I do not want to do two weeks in a row on recap.
Hope you all have a nice weekend!

Caught a 24 hour bug last weekend. So I stayed home till Tuesday. Loaded up Tuesday at Plymouth tube going to Dallas Texas. A nice thousand mile run delivered Thursday morning. Then I get the message deadheaded the Fort Smith how sweet it is. Picked up off the yard going to Chicago for Monday. Made it home Friday night at 9 PM.
My bunk AC quit working so after I unload Monday off to Freightliner I go. Hopefully they'll have it done by Tuesday time will tell.
Have a great weekend, drive safe and enjoy the ride.JimTheHut Thanks this. -
Going to head for Gary around 5:15 pm. Should get to gary by 2200 local time. Do my 10 hr break and roll by 0800. Will only be about 10 miles from delivery. See you on the road!

We use to take the GW bridge all the time but realized 278 over Goethals Bridge was quicker and shorter depending on what part of NY your going to and the time you are there. Scared the 1st time going 278 because of the height restrictions but it seems they lied even box trucks keep going.Better to stay in the left lane to be sure but the right works too.
I'm sure when you saw him you knew instantly why I call him Santa Clause. His beard is much longer then when we 1st met him. LOLJimTheHut Thanks this. -
Loaded at us steel yesterday in east Chicago in. Made it to Fraziers bottom.wv last night by 2315. Heading to salisbury nc. They stop receiving at 1500. I got.there at 1504. I went to.check in and let them know I was going to spend the night. A guy stopped me to tell me that they were done receiving. I explained that I knew that and was just letting them know I was on their property. I got.almost to the truck and he class after me. He said because I was so nice, one of.the guys would unload me.. so I am mt and over at the Hess. I want to get.off of this time line, so I am not going to put my mt call in until my clock is out. etap had me delivering tomorrow am anyway. Had a nice nap.as I have been dragging ever since I got up at 0015 on Saturday.
