all in all can't complain . Picked up Sunday out a US in Gary Indiana. Going to ball in Springdale Arkansas delivered Monday. Then went down to altus Arkansas and picked up carbon rod going to ghent ky. A nice 700 mile run to deliver on Tuesday. a tight run but doable etap Says I will be there 30 min. before they quit receiving. I figured I would be there an hour and 20 min. before they quit receiving and that's just running at 58 miles an hour.

Everything was going fine until I hit Nashville. Some Yahoo door swinger with the I got ago attitude crashes his truck in the turn from I40 to I 65. That's an hour and 10 min. of my life I will not get back. Or as my wife would say the good Lord put me exactly where he wanted me to be. LOL

I stop for fuel in ky and then I get a preplan. Picking up at ghent going to Kansas City for Thursday delivery. That's not going to work. My God's son is getting married and then need to be home for the wedding.Lord knows I only do a special request maybe once a year. Like I say a immediate family member died or a immediate family members getting married.
Well I get a hold my FM rich he's the man !!! I get a new preplan pickup Wednesday sdi Jeffersonville Wednesday deliver Central states Michigan city Indiana. Sweet that's 10 mile from the house.
Well I get to my delivery with 30 min. to spare. But they need the big forklift to unload me and it has a flat tire. Two hours later I'm unloaded and I make it in to the truck stopped with 30 min. to spare. Take a well-deserved shower and go to bed.
Pickuped Wednesday at sdi and delivered that evening. And then went home. Went to the Gary yard Thursday morning to get the driver side window changed had a stone crack. Then went back home.

Been awhile since ive been on here.Was going to go Maverick after cdl school, but made the wrong choice and went with another company. Then i had problems at home and had to leave there. Its been a few months, but finally going to Maverick. Been approved, just waiting for recruiter to set up trainer and orientation. Cannot wait to get started. Thanks to everyone for posting their insights into the company and what they have been through. Hope to meet everyone soon.
