Heading For Little Rock! Maverick

I might call my FM every other week. As for complaining I do it here on the Forum! Don't ask too many questions, the more you know the more responsible you are, ignorance is bliss my brother.

 

I truly feel your pain Jim. I'm also on Sewerman's friends and family plan. We didn't talk nearly as much you guys did but normally a couple of times a week and as you know that translates into a couple of hours LOL. I know most of what I know about this job because of his mentoring. It's been very lonely out there the past few weeks because Sewerman is the only Maverick flatbedder I know and talk to on a regular basis. All we can do for now is keep up the prayers and let God sort it all out.

 

I know that for a fact! My driver trainer called his FM 2-3 times per day. It almost sounded to me like he was "kissing up." I made it clear to my FM that my PRIMARY communication will be via qcomm. Maybe I'm just mean tho.

Well guys, after starting 20 threads asking everyone about Maverick, I finally got the green light to attend orientation. Went over the phone confirmation with my recruiter, got my bus ticket number, and I will be heading to NLR early this Saturday morning.

I appreciate everyone's help in helping me to narrow things down. I had 10 companies calling me trying to recruit me but Maverick was the clear choice after doing research and talking to people here.

I cant wait to get started, and ill return the kindness yall have shown me by being a lurker and contributor to this forum in my free time to get to know some of you a bit and answer any questions for people like me who are trying to zero in on a company to driver for.
