The bulb is fine....it is the controller that I believe is the problem...Is it a violation?

watch out for the over due PM thing. Hubby told FM it was due at 20,000 miles was told there was no record for service until 25,000. Stopped @ a T/A at 25,500 miles on his own and got 1.5 pts taken off for overdue PM. Never got a return response about it from FM. I guess it is what it is.

As far as I can tell, the one just in front of the door is not required.

According to DOT regs, all lights that are installed on the truck must be working. So if you have 5,000 decorative lights on your tractor or trailer, every single one must work. It is a violation if it doesn't.

If you want to appreciate your job at maverick, just sit in the lounge of any freightliner.for a couple of hours and listen to the other drivers!
