I shoul be starting orientation the following weekend, Nov. 3rd. Would have been 27th but I had to give 2 week notice. Didn't have to I guess but it was the respectful thing to do. Anyway, maybe we will run into each other in the next few weeks.

I made my delivery in the fog. It was really bad all the way in to Mi Tech. While I was there, I ran into Juan. He went through orientation with me. He is now an o/o with Tennessee Steel haulers.
When I got mt, I got a load to pick up at GP, formally Temple Inland in Cumberland City. This load is going to Addison Mi. Since I am off Monday, I called and asked my fm if they were going to repower the load, or just change the delivery to Tuesday. He said he would find out. Two minutes later, I had a new appointment schedule to deliver on Tuesday. Sometimes you just have to ask the question in a way that makes them think of it themselves (-:
Got loaded and made it to the pilot in ky just past the parkway. I had a chunk out of my tire on the trailer, so I had it replaced.
Made it home around 0900 this morning.
Yesterday a suv full of young kids pulled up next to me wanting me to blow the horn. Since I was at a light, I did not want to scare the car in front of me. So I gave it one quick blast. You would have thought I just told them they were going to Disney World. They were so excited. The Dad driving got a big kick out of it. They started yelling to me that I was awesome....It put a big smile on my face....to give so much joy with so little effort!
Forgot to mention that I saw my old truck at the Pilot 12233. I went up and talked to the driver for a sec......great truck!jxu417 Thanks this. -
I was going to spend the night at the receiver but I have never been there before. It is dark and raining so i stopped at the pilot just 40 miles.away.
