Opted to participate in per diem program offerred at maverick and always receive a return at the end of the year. Have a CPA that does our taxes for the last 15+ years.

Only state taxes taken out of my paycheck are the state in which I live, Kentucky. No city or Arkansas state taxes taken out of paycheck. Only ky and federal.

 

Wow, anyway...recruiter did state that one is hired from the State in which they live.....I used to live in NJ & work in NY, and had to file NY out of State tax forms....this is 2014, people either make the chose to know or dont know, doesnt make 'em 'stupid'

 

OTR trucking's different than having a job where you are reporting to the same place each day. I have a non driving job and live in one state and work in another and file in both states.

 

Lol. Wasn't calling you stupid sir. People think all truck drivers are stupid. Hence my stupid truck driver being placed within quotation marks. No offense meant to be conveyed by my reply to your original question, nor any meant by this response either.

Heard back from the recruiter late this morning, and since I am going with the Glass Division and there are only two spots for the next class on 6-8 for Glass, it looks like it will at least be the 15th or 22nd before I could get started. Of course if someone is unable to attend I might be able to be scheduled sooner. Just waiting patiently.........
