Made it to Hershvogel yesterday at around 0530 and got across the scale right away. Somehow when I put the bol in the scale computer, it missed a number....i am sure it was not me...lol. So I had to back up and go over the scale again...no biggie. Got unloaded after about 45 minutes and got my next load to go to Columbus Coatings. Got right in and loaded right away. I was home by 0930 for a much deserved rest......ie getting to work around the house....lol.
Will head out tomorrow morning, go down and get in line at MiTech just like two weeks ago and get unloaded around midnight and then hit the rack until morning.

Tarps folded and put away. Chains and binders stowed. Just two straps over the coil waiting for them to show up. Will be spending the night just outside the other door on the side of driveway.

Kicked back and enjoying fresh brewed coffee listening to the rain. Looks like I am going to get wet at some point today!

Hi all, question...some of you may or may not have heard of a recent fatality on nj turnpike. Which involved two tractor trailers. Now, the trucker that started the accident told police 'I may have dozed off'...Reading the comments at the end of this online report, someone asked, could the driver haved pulled over to get some rest?...Well, could he? Could he have taken another 30min break? Without being in some violation or the need of having to take 10hrs off duty.....Whats the solution Maverick Truckers
