I would need to confirm that. They know what they have open before they schedule a class. They still have turnover....they are just locking drivers into contracts....

Seems like they could have stopped training a couple months ago. It's been slow, especially glass. When glass is slow we can be assigned flat bed loads but it must really be slow to let us sit for 3-4 days and then get 300 mile weekend loads.

But they are still paying the minimum 1000.

OTR has been slower than usual. Sat for most of a week recently in Laurinburg then got a 300 mile weekend load. Over 4th of July weekend got a load of 800 miles that delivered in 7 days. Could have pulled another before that one but apparently there weren't enough loads. Also have to sit regularly for 2 days at Wichita Falls before getting a load. Starting to dread going there or Laurinburg since that's where you end up sitting for days with 0 pay. It's by design, would much rather get sent to Dewitt or Spring Hill because a load is usually happening right away but alot of times it ends up being Wichita Falls.

Picked up a load from Wichita falls 2 weeks ago. It was a 1300 mile load delivering on Monday. On the way back did another 600 mile load, then deadheads of 1300 miles total. Been sitting for over 2 days since for my 4th 34hr reset in 2 weeks. 2 weeks just over 3000 miles.
You know it's bad when you pull a load to California and then go back and still end up very little miles.

Heard from a friend of mine that the new 2021 trucks are going to come standard with cameras facing the drivers. It was something that they said they would never do...but here it comes!

Yep, that is what they said. never, ever.

Apparently the cameras in the new trucks weren't hi-def enough though so they are holding all of the trucks untill they can get better cameras.

I guess they really want to see some hi-def driver nose picking.
