Not too bad. Truck was down two weeks . going to Buffalo New York. Delivers Monday. Went on vacation and my car broke down too never made it to Florida. But made the best of it and had have a good time. Jim and his wood coins are killers on electrical system. Since he gave me one I had nothing but electrical problems on everything.LOL

Jim?.....u sure there's no hidden chip in your coins that messes up everyone's electrical systems?.....Maverick id badges are pretty thin yet wave them in front of a card reader at the gate and VOILA.....it opens.

The CC (coin conspiracy): I can just see jim in his secret lab with his mad scientist labcoat and magnifying specs on as he installs the secret chip in all his coins, snickering to himself...."yet another electrical system on the fritz, soon i shall have ALL THE MILES.....MOOOOOHOOOOAHAHAH!!!" lmao

There is no chip in the coin, but my license plate light for the trailer fell out and the wire drug and took out three other lights on the trailer.
I also had my mirror on the right side of the front bumber fall off yesterday.
It must have happened when I went through some rough road. I never saw it fall off or heard it. It was there and then when I went to look at it again it was gone.

Does anyone know if that is a Dot violation not to have that mirror? I figured I could get another one when I get the trailer fixed on Monday.

I sent in a message on the qualcom explaining what was wrong with the trailer. I explained that I still had turn signals and break lights. I stated that I could not run in the dark due to the trailer light but could run in the light and then go get the lights fixed after delivering on Monday.
I said I that I would need authorization to deliver after 10 on Monday.
The window is from 8 to 3 but as you all know the first delivery on Monday is to be delivered by 10 am.
I get a response back and it reads " Why do you have to deliver after 10?

I reply " Did you read what I wrote"?

I did not receive a reply so I sent another one.
I said, due to the trailer lights not working, I can not run in the dark and will have to leave after it is light. I may not be able to make it there by 10.
I am leaving the truck, please call me on my cell if you need to discuss this!:biggrin_25526:

I headed out on Sunday Morning and it was snowing pretty good up here in Marengo.
They were not calling for any snow, so it caught everyone off guard. The roads were not touched until I got to Polaris and then it was clear sailing. I got all the way into Tennessee and spent the night at the welcome center just across the state line.
I delivered on time on Monday morning and then got a load to pick up in Russelville.
Just like the last time, the TMC, Boyd, and WTI boys were all tarping back under the cover and the Maverick drivers were pulling out and tarping out front. There was a very light mist off and on, but with the plastic, there was nothing to be worried about.
I left there and ran for about there hours and made it to one of the South Carolina rest areas. Of course it said 2 hour limit, so I only stayed two hours at a time.
I knew there was a storm coming up North, so I was not sure what I was going to run into. I just wanted to make it through the Mountains before it hit.
I was heading to Archbold Ohio and did not run into any freezing rain until I almost got to Dayton Ohio. Then it all hit the fan. There were cars all over the place and the traffic was at a crawl off and on. Just south of Piqua, there was a semi that went off the road and was all torn up. I decided that it was time to get off of the expressway...so I stopped at the rest area there.
Traffic was at a crawl going south bound for hours.
The weather report was for 6 to 8 inches of snow by Morning. My appointment had been changed until 3 in the afternoon as Sauder was shutting down until then.
The snow did not start to fall until in the morning, and the forecast was not as bad...but I was talking to drivers coming from the North and they were telling me that in some areas it was a sheet of ice on the expressway.
I sent in a message that I was staying put. They said 70% of the fleet was stuck in the storm. Around noon it was not snowing and the road reports were not that bad, so I let them know that I was going to ease up there.
I got 30 miles to the next rest area near Wapakonneta (spelling). North Bound was backed up for miles due to ice....so I shut down again.
After 30 minutes traffic was moving again, so I started out again. Along the way another Mav driver and I hooked up and drove on in together. I got there at 15:30 and finally got unloaded and parked on their lot by 21:30.
Got up in the morning and waited around until 09:30 when I got a load to pick up Bluffington In to take to Prince George Va. Aluminum Logs.
I made it to the first rest area in WV on the turnpike before I shut down.
I made my delivery on time and was given a load to pick up in Gladys Va heading to Ft Henry Ohio.
They are the fastest loading GP that I have ever been too. They were not busy so was able to secure and tarp inside. The fumes were killing me though and I was happy to get out in the fresh air. There was another Mav driver that had been right behind me ever since Bluffton In. We helped each other with our tarping. We offered to help a Hornady driver tarp, but he said he was just killing time and would finish himself. He appreciated the offer though.
I headed out at 03:30 in the morning. It was raining and foggy most of the morning.
Once I hit Polaris on I71 in Ohio, it started snowing again, just as it was when I left.
Made it home and got to walk around and look at all the trees that had come down during the Ice Storm during the week. It is a real mess....but nothing hit the house, garage, or chicken coop.
Hopefully I can get the trailer fixed pretty quick on Monday so I can be rolling again.
Going to watch the Super Bowl. Since the Steelers are in the same division as the Bengals, I will root for them, but I like Green Bay also.

ive done the reseach and got the general idea of what maverick hauls. i was just wondering if anyone could give some more specific loads they haul for maverick. what kind of things does the specialized division haul versus the flatbed?

Flatbed hauls steel coils, steel tubing, aluminum logs, aluminum coils, lumber, drywall, plywood, hay, shingles, granite slabs, rolled roofing...anything that can be secured to a flatbed truck.

Specialized, which I am not as familiar with, hauls, glass, machinery and they also haul all of the above on back hauls. Dolly Lama can fill you in better on them as she is a trainer for them.
