I get a little bit more variety than that! -
Well, for the most part that is how it works. Steel goes south, wood goes north.
Jim, I have loaded at Gladys many times and I have always gotten loaded quickly. They have never been backed up. Usually it is harder to find a place to park and tarp than it is to get loaded.
I was in Bedford Heights the night all the snow started. Loaded at Majestic. When I went in the building it was lightly snowing, when I came out there was at least 5 inches on the ground. It didn't take THAT long to load!!
I still had hours so I got down to the WV line and it all turned to rain. I got out of there just in time.
Loaded in Russellville with a Marion IN load for Monday. Got to Russellville and they told me to pull on the scale and go on back before I even got to the gate. Kinda messed me up for a minute or two. I figured for sure I would have to park in the lot.
Be careful out there guys..but hey, that groundhog says it's about over!!!
Dave -
would be about that fast at Bennettsville, Russellville (SC) and Moncure if they weren't so slow to load. I love Gladys and Jarratt, VA... their ready to load as soon as you pull the brakes. -
Lights yes, dot violation. Moon mirror on the right front fender, i dont think so.
re the message you sent, if it was a breakdown macro, they might of sent a repair truck to fix it while you were parked. free form messages go to your fm or extended services( after hours) -
It was snowing and very wet on the ground and I did not want to wait around at the truck stop on my home time. Will get it taken care of Monday.

It is technically an auto shifter. You can put it in manual and shift to your hearts content. Just no clutch.MtDewMan Thanks this. -
I thought auto shifting has clutch when starting and stooping or when trying to back up? I'm new to auto shifting since all I have driven was super 10 and reg 10 speed.

Here are some pics of the inside. Just the "Padddle" that you can bump up or push down. Switch in the middle changes it from automatic to manual. No clutch pedal and it also has a display for what gear you are in. You even have room for a microwave, fridge, and a 32" tv!
