heading out to crst

    hey guys,

    shipping out to CRST's school in cedar rapids late next week. im very excited. this will be my second rodeo with a company school. the first one was CR England. The air brakes test and pretrip in general was a disaster for me. its like i study and practice by to do a pretrip bare naked, my mind completely crapped out on me.

    I just wanted general tips and advice and how to get through this and come out on the other end with a class A CDL.

    Don't get overwhelmed, discouraged, or hang with the "hater's". Stay focused and study, but not too much. Brain can freeze up from too much cramming. Do NOT leave 1 day early on that contract. They do not pro rate. Have questions, get back at me. I know alot about CRST.

    Might be overkill but I studied until I could close my eyes and do a complete pre-trip. Now i just check fluids, leaks, tires, lights and broken stuff.

    got autofailed three times in a row for in cab/air brakes stuff. got sent home.. nevermind there were people getting up to five attempts.. but thats the past. no hard feelings here
