Dont drink coffee and dont smoke on your physical day because your blood pressure is high.should be at 120/80 normal, and 130/90 is high.Good luck.

I've been off caffeine and sodium for the last week. I don't smoke so good there. My bp usually runs a little higher, like 130/90 range. As long as that top number stays under 140 I'm good! Lol

Do y'all know if they send you home after a certain time or do you just stay here until you get a trainer?

As long as there not a long wait for a trainer you'll stay there. Good luck to you. Pay attention to everything trainer says. Dont be afraid to ask questions. Theres never a stupid question. Only thing stupid is not asking.

Passed everything today except the blood pressure! Well I haven't got the results back for the drug test but unless someone has drugged me in my sleep... Lol... I know that's good. It was a get in this line now get in that line now get in this line and fill this out sorta day. I don't really mind the paperwork though. I'm really hoping the BP works out tomorrow so I don't have to go all the way home and wait and come all the way back! That'll be some crap. Everyone I've met is really nice, one super trucker, but he's not all that bad. Lol. I'm going to try and get this CDL manual down and try and relax for this BP test. I tell y'all what, I'll be so glad when I can have a hamburger again.. Lol this low sodium diet is for the birds.

Get a good night's sleep, and really try not to stress on the BP - that alone can put you over.

Yeah IP, I'm not stressing over it. It is what it is. If I have to take a bus home and get on meds then come back in 30 days, I just have to. My stressing over it isn't going to change anything. Lol. I'm doing this whatever it takes!

I just got my app approved today, I will be attending the 8/20/12 class in Pittston, PA. Not looking forward to the bus ride, but the recruiter says I will be in orientation as an "A" Seat for 3 days, then I get into a lightweight truck starting at .43 cpm no trainer... It all sounds really nice, but I've had recruiters say the grass is green and when you get to the other side of the fence its dead and brown, so crossing fingers and hoping for the best, if it all works out I would love to stay with Prime as long as they treat me right!:biggrin_25520: Anyone who has pics of the lightweight trucks I would love to see them!
