Glad to see you guys are hooking up early. The friends I made at the Swift Academy helped make a tense, unpredictable experience so much more bearable. TD, take care of our new forum members!

Well, the good news is, I have an instructor. He is on his way in, will unload, get some work done at the shop, then we will be on our way to the 100 hours of driving to get me ready to test. A lot of us got hooked up with instructors today. Good thing too, another class of about 40 started yesterday, and they have only dropped about 5 of them so far. I have done so many pre trips out on the pad this week, I wish I could test on that now. lol. I will try to keep posted while out the next 3 weeks, as that is all it should take to get me ready. Then I will be looking for a trainer to take me out to get the next 50,000 miles to come back in here and upgrade. They have another class of instructors finishing up Friday, so that should take care of all that is left, plus some of this weeks class.
So far, I think this is still a very good way to get your training and get you ready for the road. My instrutor is a lease operator, who budgets himself 100.00 per week for groceries and necessities. Be fun to learn how he does that, so I can do the same on my truck.
