They have good banana pudding at the TS where the driving range is located.
RedRover Thanks this. -
Swift is probably one of the better companies to start with. They're one of the higher paying companies. They have the freight. They'll let you run as many miles as you want to run and they'll treat you with respect. That's about all you can ask for in trucking. Swift has always been good to me.

Have you ever worked for swift?

Oh don't even worry about him. He's completely harmless.
mitrucker Thanks this. -
No he hasn't. Not even sure he drives anymore.

What's an OSHA 10? I googled it, just came up with 10 hour courses.....

General safety and health training. Trains you on safety in construction. Teaches you about electrical properties, lockout prrocedures, scaffolding, dealing with forklifts or delivery vehicles, tool safety, PPE, etc.
Pretty much wanted but not required in construction dealing with gen cons like JD Dunn.
I figured mentioning it in the app couldn't hurt. I knew they wouldn't care about my welding certs though.
The 10 hour is just credit hours in their system. I took semester long class class for it during my welding program.Last edited: Nov 5, 2016

Figures just another internet know it all. I see him on here acting like he's worked for every company out here. Telling new drivers to go work for one company, avoid another company. Meanwhile the guy doesn't even truck. He's probably working a gaurd shack talking to all the truckers that come through about that time he ran over the road for 6 months.mitrucker Thanks this.

Oh, give him a little credit. He is a former LEO. That's got to count for something.
