That's actually a very important point for any U.S. drivers who come to Canada. Make sure your insurance covers you outside of the U.S. If not, you will receive emergency services along with a very big bill. Non emergency services you will likely not get without paying up front.

You're right though, when ever I come over in my POV, it would be up to me.Never ever thought of that. Thanks.
All that seems so odd to me. There are so many things the same, yet so many things are different, all due to an imaginary line. -
oh no jd--sorry bout that---it was the flag--i thought it was finland---duh on me---cant leave us because it would appear that i am abandoning my application for immigration--and then i wouldnt be allowed back to us cause it would appear that i am crossing with intent to immigrate---so here i sit hanging out with my 5 yr old--but that isnt a bad thing---except for slowely going broke--but its only money---meant to be spent ---not tucked away in a sock

Where in Ontario are you from? -
i was driving out of mississauga--originally from sask--but moved to ontario after meeting current wife--so i could be closeroriginally it was good--as i would get here with load out of miss and i could stay weekend--but then it gradually got worse -out around 8 weeks--sometimes by choice trying to make money--but then get home and have dispatch wanting me to get back for an emergecy load after being home 4 hrs in 8 wks

Mississauga, I put many miles on there. That and Brampton were two of the places I could count on a couple times a week. Never been to Sask., but sure have wanted to. The longest I've ever been out was 6 weeks. That was enough. 8 weeks and I'd likely have been numb.

If anybody mentions a place in Canada you've never heard of ask them what part of Saskatchewan it is at. 9 times out of 10 it will be somewhere there. Any place that brought us Tommy Douglas has to have something going for it.
