hearing impaired at Roehl??

I've had this for years. Factory work, mechanic, EMT with loud ### sirens and air horns all the time, riding Harleys with straight pipes, and lets not forget the Rock music of the '70s!
Any ideas on how to pass this stupid test?

Don't want to waste a month and up to $5k trying to get training and get sent home because I can't hear a whisper # 5 friggin feet! Sorry, I really want to do this and I'm just frustrated after reading this post. Not trying to turn it into mine.

 

what do they want to know in this test? if Your in a truck running are going the hear someone whisper in to other seat? I mean I can whisper and someone 5 feet away wont hear it. I know they say forced whisper but really how load is that?
