When you download the App for Transflo now, it asks for your company code. This is the code for where the scans get sent.
I talked to my dispatcher today about it. He said that he called Iowa a few weeks ago when a driver asked about this. And they told him it would be a while before they will use the system.
So for now we still have to transflo as we do now. But eventually they will set up to use it.

Looks like they are trying it out or getting ready to test it.

Completed orientation, and they put myself and another driver in a rented car for the Columbus terminal to pickup our tractors on Friday.
Paid us both some revenue, and provided us lodging before we reported to the terminal on saturday.
Received our units, and dispatch, we both were able to stop at home, pickup necessary belongings, with enough time to make delivery on Monday.
    I have a "2 stopper" for IL. & WI.
There's a problem with my "on board computer" which I'm not receiving information from them, so by telephone the communication will allow me to get this load delivered, and deal with that situation later.
The shop did make the thing work better then before I've got electronic logs, but time was short due to the half day work schedule.
Everything else has gone well, and I'm sure they will get this computer problem straighten out, or the phone calls will be necessary to move freight till they can route me somewhere to make the repairs.
So it's a "give n take" situation, no one has forced anything on me, but through experience, you know freight delivery comes 1st, with safety in mind.
Communication is important, with any carrier you haul for.

Looking Forward to a Busy Week.

They will probibly route you to a terminal that can repair it after your drops. From WI you could end up at several of them.

i just got off the phone with a recruiter afer filling out an app. i got tired of getting the shaft where i was, so now they are going to run the paperwork and told me to call monday.

i chose the southeast regional seeing how i live in chattanooga. the last place ran me to death non stop on jersey and NY for a year and a half. i am tired of 81st street.

atlanta would be the terminal i would run from, so do they do the orientation at the big terminals or do you have to go to the main one in Iowa?

he told me on the phone that heartland does not fool with the physicals and that stuff. they get that done where you live. makes it easy for me, i just had one in late december. all i have to do is email them a copy of the long form and the card.

will update here after i call monday. i have a couple of other lines in the water too, we will see which one bites first.

everyone is going to have a bad time somewhere. it is just t he way things work. a job is a job to some people, and others choose to make it a career.

You will do orientation at Atlanta. They should have trucks available at the terminal. If not they may have to send a few people to another terminal to get trucks that are ready to go. You may end up in the northeast some. But only NE regional drivers are required to make delivery's in NY City.

i have only been in a prostar once, and it was one of crete's trucks. any common quirks (like volvos and bad grounds) that i should be aware of and do they have an APU?

I will try to get on here with an update on miles soon. I have been way too busy lately! Cadillacdude, they do not have APU's. You can idle the truck and run A/C when it is 72 degrees or hotter, which I think is reasonable. They are working on allowing for inverters. Things going well and getting better as we go.
