I have not seen very much on this company and thought I would start a post asking around for some information. I currently work for a large company doing local work in the northeast but always try and keep my options open.
I have seen ads in the magazines offering .40cpm + an extra .04cpm for east of I81. This would be decent money if they kept you moving. I have seen alot of these trucks around in NY and NJ and just thought I would try to find some info on here rather than ask a recruiter. Thanks.

Mr Chromedome works there.
He'll be on here later to answer all your questions.
check back......... -
they dont keep you moving less then 2000 a week alot of short hauls if you get a 600mile run you will have 3 days to get it there
-
Word to the wise ...
I can pay you $1.00 a mile run you 550-600 miles a week on my REGIONAL stuff and promise you the world but .... Question is this ..
Is $550.00 a week good enough for you each week ?
Moral to the story
Just because they pay more does not mean they reall PAY MORE !!!
If that were the case they would be the next WAL-MART Private Fleet with 0% turnover but yet ....
They are in ever truck stop book and on tri fold - incerts
So ........
Is it really that good ??? -
They consensus on them judging by whats posted on here is they do pay good but you will get about 2200-2500 miles a week. Kentucky24 brings up a good point is that gonna be enough money to make it worth it to you considering you will be living in that truck for 5 or 6 days at a time. Thats a question only you can answer. Chromedome drives for them I believe hopefully he will see this and give you some insight.

They are correct.
You will average around 2200 miles per week on regional, they are pretty good about trying to get you home every weekend though.
If you go with Carlisle Regional, which is the normal NE region, you start at a higher rate than any other region. Plus the extra .04 cpm for east of I-81.
They have garbage insurance also. It costs 94 dollars a week for family and really does not cover much of anything. Plus has a 1000 dollar deductible.
I personally try and stay out of the north east region. I cannot get any miles there.
I am on Oh regional out of Columbus, so I am not on the NE boards most of the time.
And they give all the bad loads to the drivers from out of the region, so that the ones from that region will get more miles.
Sorry it took so long to respond. I check the Heartland DAC folder every time I log on, but I never scroll down on this page.
