What have you seen in terms of spin so far? I can understand that you might be leery of a company chiming in on a thread titled, "Heartland Express Unaccountability" in a forum titled, "Report A BAD Trucking Company Here". But, look back at the questions I've been able to answer in just two days. I'm not here to get in the way, but I can provide another perspective. And, to your point, I strongly recommend you seek out the opinions and direct feedback of other drivers (past and present).
It would seem you have your mind made up about our company, and that's okay. We'll be here if you need us.

This is a site for drivers... Not companies...
No other company comes on here to discuss their company.
As for making my mind up about your company i did that years ago after my experiences with you. -
Good point. I'd encourage you to read an article about why forums and social media can become such a breeding ground for negativity: Cyberspace Complainers Counteract Stress and Command Power.
But, we can be better. And, joining the conversation (right here, right now) is a great place to start.

You're exactly right. No one else is doing this. And, I'm not here to "sway" you or anyone. Just to serve as a resource for those that inquire about our company.
Cheers,
-Rob at Heartland Express -
My initial thoughts were to stay out of this conversation as I don't have a dog in this hunt, now I feel compelled to make this reply.
Unless I missed the reply, it appears you did not aswer the question of your driving experience. If none, it might be difficult for some to take you seriously.
This my friend is the definition of spin. Best wishes. -
Our dialogue is straying away from my reason for being here, so I'll leave you with this: is providing another perspective really "spin"? What if it's just honest and open discussion?
Spin: "(noun/verb) A description or the act of describing negative events in an overly favorable way. Advertising copy or political hyperbole, especially when intentionally misleading."
I do not currently drive, myself. I had previously shared that. I oversee our digital responsiveness efforts. My service is to those out on the road, 7 days a week. It wouldn't be feasible to have a 24-hour responsive approach from the road.

Here's how I see it with the whole negativity thing. This is a truckers forum where drivers rant to each other about companies because they know the real deal what's going on not recruiters or the companies CEO. Drivers listen and understand each other most of the negativity you read is not just drivers blowing smoke most is true. They also know who comes on here and tries to sell there company to the drivers.OPUS 7, Western flyer and tow614 Thank this.

You're right. You might've seen my previous message about not selling anything. Additionally, I'm an advocate for drivers gaining insight from other drivers when it comes to carriers.
I'm not a recruiter, nor am I someone with an agenda. My aim is to use this tool (TTR and other digital outlets) as a way to be responsive when it comes to questions about our company.
All the best,
