Fortunately, I don't get my decision making information from posters on TTR.

Not trying to be hard on you, Denali. You brought it up here in a thread I started and shouldn't be surprised if I extend my 2-cents worth.

I took a happy 18-months off after hauling mail between Bloomington, Indiana and Columbus, Ohio 5 nights a week. Could have gone most anywhere at that point except probably for lower pay, was $24-ish/hour. Laid off, USPS shut down our day run...

I was low man on roster and asked for layoff (union).

While on my 18-month sojourn, my time at Mid-States Express fell off my 3-year. Suddenly found myself not valued at carriers could have easily gone to previously. Doors closed.

Gordon welcomed me. Good equipment, never even hinted to run illegal, dispatch mostly courteous even in the middle of a snit. Just the pay sucked. Just the pay.

My hunch is Gordon should be top of your list. Again.

October miles are in. 10,350. Still pretty good for a South West Regional Driver that goes home more than once or twice a month.

    Victor_V Thanks this.
