Heartland needs to be in the BAD company list

    Anyone thinking of joining Heartland think hard,this company does nothing for the drivers,they brag about more pay per mile but you don't get many miles,they think a 500 mile in two days is a big deal & also the reason they are debt free they suck it out of the drivers & are cheap with spending any money to make it easier for the driver or to make them comfortable.I will not go into detail it would take too much time but have also talked to a number of veteran drivers who say the same thing.....it used to be a good company but no more.....,am just giving some good advice on yet another BAD company.Be safe.

    I guess at this rate we will never get the full story!? Too bad that some drivers can't substantiate their stories a little bi better! If you are going to blame a company for bad things that happen to you, you need some cold hard facts and it would be a lot more interesting than random speculation.

    If anyone has any current info on Heartland, I would appreciate it. I am trying to find a decent company to get with, and I would like to get as much reliable info as possible so I don't end up having to job hop. They seem to pay well per mile, but are the miles there? How about home time, is it realistic to expect to get home a couple times a month? Thanks.

    just lil ? why is it evryone wants to be a truck driver an all they are concerned about is home time?? isnt part of trucking being away from home?? lol just a dumb axx ?
