Now they need to heat the DEF tanks

Where are going Antarctica? Winter blend or rubbing alcohol should be good enough.

This is nothing new. I had a friend in the early 80's that had Arctic Fox heaters in his '79 Pete 359 tanks, and he never had a problem, Burned #2 year 'round. Very popular in Canada, hey.
-
-28 is the tipping point I've found with just a block heater.
I run TA fuel and never had a problem, even last winter With how cold it was. -
We used to put those in the hydraulic tanks on the new hoes we built at the dealer. Hooked up to a proheat so the engine and oil stayed warm when the units were sitting outside. Worked good.
-
really don't need them with the returning fuel being hot already in the new stuff. had a set on my ole 359 with a c model cat worked great.
-
I've heard the new 15/16s return a lot less fuel....
