Is there a mass produced, commercially made product out there to place over windows of equipment when hauling it?
We have had several variates made at our local leather shop. We had a square one made for excavator windows and we had a cab shaped one for backhoes and loaders. They were heavy tarp with insulation that we bungee cord into place.
I was hoping I could find someone that made the professionally. My local shop would be too long of a wait.

A boat shop that does tops could make you one, make sure they line it with machinist felt to keep rubbing the paint.
D rings with ratchet straps and some tie down points helps also. -
Don't know where you are but Steve at Tri City in Garnite City, IL can make what you want.

nothing off the shelf?

you could modify some moving blankets with some eyelids so you could bungee it. not too difficult

I've used cardboard and duck tape many times. Works fine and the box I cut up was free
The problem with a mass produced piece would be the fact that every machine is different and there would be a million different sizes. Now if you haul the exact same machines every trip, then having a leather shop or something like that make you a custom piece would work. -
In general if it isn't easy it doesn't get done. Cardboard and carpet aren't easy. Moving blankets won't last.
It doesn't have to fit perfectly. It can wrap around the cab. Just the general shape would be find.
I guess the fact is not too many people have the problem I have with windows so it isn't something that is mass produced. -
Sounds like you just have a black cloud following you around and throwing rocks at them windows
Maybe have a small tarp made, say 9'x4' and then u can just fold it or open it up to fit your needs. Would keep rock chips out anyways and store easily. Just hooking it to the equipment would be the tricky part.
