I can set the center of my 5th wheel straight above my pusher axle. if I had a flip neck. as of now between center of pusher axle and front drive axle. and I can slide back 1 ft ahead of rear drive axle. that 200000lb Holland get ready for some BIG $$$.

I'm sure it isn't cheap. Interesting on you fifth wheel slide, I want to set my next one up to be able to put the kingpin right above the center of the pusher. I'm amazed when I see a truck with a pusher and 20,000 front with floats and the fifth wheel only goes a couple inches ahead of the front driver. Can you get 20,000 on your steer and 60,000 on your drives with a long enough swing clearance?

I can get 16000 on steer with a 13 ft neck. along with 60000lb on drives. I can do 20000 on steers but the weight differential is off on my pusher when I do that.

You will run out of neck before you get close to having the kingpin over the pusher

I updated my fifth wheel years ago and it is now a double locker. Can't remember the price though. Plus I have a long slide on mine. Factory issued.. When I went to the double locker I had the dealer order me a new slide as well due to the fact my old slider was getting wore out.

I've been running with my fifth wheel just behind my lift axle, and with about 50psi in that axle I can get 14-15k on my steers with about 57-58 on my drives.
I ran out of neck with my other trailer, but the one I'm under right now has a 4' flip, so I should be able to put it right on top of my lift.
I won't really need all that weight on this trip, the machine is only about 65k, but it'll be nice to see what those changes will do with my weights

View attachment 81890 this is my ride. found it in a field down in Arkansas. bought it for $8500. put about $20000 fixing it up. 15.8 cat 2050 18spd. 46 rears with lockers on new way air. better than some of the newer trucks I have owned.
