It is more work but when we delivered to BC mine sites at the gate we used to
#1 put the trailer/booster on "high-ride"
#2 block the main frame tight,
#3 dump the air ride
#4 shim the heck out of it
#5 roll in
this was after we had a deck cross member bent by a large rock on the mine road in the twilight

 

Yeah after having that happen I'd say.... But yeah off road I totally get it.
