Watch the video I posted, two posts up. The whole transmission and rotor assembly came out of the helicopter, intact. If you don’t know, Juan is amongst the best pilots in the world and is heavily involved in aircraft restorations, competitions, etc.

This guy you posted is a complete fool and just chasing clicks. You can see several videos of the helicopter smoothly flying along; there was no jerking of the stick, like this guy claims. Plus, the rotor blades are under load, flexed upward and being tilted forward, as the helicopter flies forward. You’re not going to be maintaining forward momentum and chop the boom. The unfortunate pilot was VERY experienced and exactly the type of pilot you’d want at the controls, doing a great job flying the aircraft, while showing his unfortunate guests the sights. It’s terrible what happened to them.

The problem with these influencers is they’ve got to be first to break the news, so they can get the most clicks, even if what they put out there is blatant lying. I mean, look at how many views that guy has gotten on his video. He’s making money, at the expense of the victims and unknowing public. That’s where my disgust comes from.

I hope we see more of these lawsuits. It probably won’t slow the roll of these idiots. But, hit them where it hurts; their bank accounts. This pilot wasn’t even involved!

Everybody expected mast bumping before they found the intact transmission indicating a massive mechanical failure. It's the most typical failure when the rotor blades fly off from the helicopter. I wouldn't call it fake news or lying just speculation before all the facts were in.

The same/only video footage was all over social media showing the complete rotor and transmission assembly floating down to the water, intact. Only those needing to make money off social media clicks put out false information, such as running out of fuel and boom strike. The video footage showed something completely different, from the very beginning.
