Semi train member thanks for the info. I live in the Windy City. My plan is to get one year experience and go local in IL. Is that a possibility in truck driving?

 

Chicago has a huge rail network, I'm sure you've seen them and most of that is local. You may like HO and stay with them. If you do the rail thing, be careful, lot's of shyster's in that business. Check the power units. Tells the whole story right there. Some may even train you, big demand for drivers in Chicago.

 

Ok cool. Do you know anything about HO Woldings training academy and do you kno about therevpay and benefits. They are paying for me to get my CDL A. I’m going to run regional for them for one year.
