Well give some background I've had terrible luck finding a job in Oregon moved here couple years back and ppl don't know about business up here they just play games and gossip no respect for hard workers so finally worked under the table painting cars .that's my trade and didn't get paid for 2 months straight while I made the shop earn over 30 grand alone. So I give up on Oregon and want to get into trucking and Stevens and may look like the best options for me . I think I can handle the long hours etc when I was doing auto body I was doing 13 plus hours and also killing myself spraying with all the isocyanide crap. So about Stevens is coming to Oregon a problem for stevens??? I plan to be gone 4+ plus weeks when I do work for either company at I don't mind being away from home as long money is being made

Well, as for training, can't say about May, but Stevens is a training company, so they will fit your needs to get into the industry. They have a lot of freight to Oregon, so that wouldn't be a problem. As many will tell you, it is a training company, so get the training by staying a year or so, then move on to a better paying more local company.
As for May, you see by their spiel, they have clean idle trucks and offer an idle bonus. I'd say they don't have APU's(don't know for sure) but if not, you suffer in the warm/hot months. They will be on you to reduce idling for better fuel mileage figures. They say they have bunk heaters so you would be ok in winter.
Stevens has clean idle trucks with APU's so your good no matter the weather.
