Hi all!
I am interested in getting my CDL A and I have been researching a great deal online but it hasn't been easy to learn about the week to week life of a team driver. I am hoping to get insights and hear a few stories/experiences from you. I look forward to chatting with you and wish you all safe travels

So, you want a team operation?
Do you aplan to attend a private CDL school or trucking company schoold?
Put you location on your profile also.savage8000 Thanks this. -
It's my understanding at least, team driving was required during the "repayment" contractual period. I have my fears about compatibility with someone you spend sooo much time with. I am a great easy going guy, but I perceive it like being in a space capsule where you can start to feel trapped. lol Eventually, I see myself solo...and if the money is better, owning my own truck...but I guess that is another string somewhere.

Some companies drag the training period out to get cheap team operations. There are some that don't such as Swift, Central Refrigerated, Comcar. Comcar is headquartered in Auburndale, FL. but run 48 states depending on what division you sign up with.
