I'm not a new driver, I been a driver since 2017, but I didn't know where else to post this question. I was driving for swift for about month and I let my truck costed up to 70mp but it went to 80mp and I did start slowing it but didn't get it below 70mp fast enough but swift terminated me for it. I had other videos from swift recordings of me that was triggered up to online like, pulling over to the side of interstate to come to compete stop, slowing up for traffic light triggered a video upload and going across rail road track also triggered videos and some other stuff triggered uploads and those all add up and raise my score up and they never subtracted the other stuff off that are no issues at all. I'm a good safe driver and I do believe I have been wrongfully fired, I'm scared now that that will all go on record and I'll have issues getting truck driving jobs. The one person not the one who fired me said it's a company policy and I would not have a hard time finding a truck driving job, but the guy that fired me didn't say to me the same as the guy that told me that, the guy who fired me was listening to the guy telling me it will not be hard didn't say that is true or anything. The person who said I will find another job I figure was just saying that because I was in the same room with him and the guy that fired was listening in on the other side of the speaker phone and that's why he didn't say anything so I figure they know I'm screwed. So I'm looking for honest truth, I want to know am I screwed? do they put it on record for other companies to view or what? I want another truck driving job over the road state to state driving. What companies don't monitor you like swift and dont hold those kinda of things against you? I dont drive fast but it went over limit at times but I always slow up as soon as I notice it. I need a good truck driving job that has a terminal in Florida and a terminal in Ohio also because I live in Florida during fall and winter months and ohio during spring and summer months. My CDL are in ohio also.

You're hirable with a few companies.
    We'll find something for you.
    Do you have any endorsements?
Exactly how much experience do you have?

you let your truck coast to 80 mph.???

    why?

i cannot "see" how you were wrongfully terminated.

for what ever reason(s) Swift deemed you an unsafe driver.

you set off the event recorder, then when you noticed it, you backed off?

i don;t think a professional would even set off an event recording, just saying

    good luck to you.

You shouldn't have a problem finding a new gig. Good luck and keep us posted.

I’m sure @Chinatown will pull something out of his bag of tricks for you but I gotta say I’m an owner operator with an ungoverned truck and I don’t do 80 miles an hour driving or coasting.

    Do you have any tickets?
I wouldn't reveal anything that's not on your DAC report.
Until then, just say you were fired because the event recorder went off too many times.
Get a copy of your DAC report at www.hireright.com
Never know, it may be clean.

I wouldn't say anything about going 80 mph unless it's on your DAC report.
www.roadtex.com has two terminals in Ohio and two in Florida.
This company sometimes gives drivers a second chance.

I worked for other companies and never had that problem. I'm only non perfect human, no I'm not using that as an excuse. I dont speed but that time I did but not on purpose but I started slowing it down.
