Hello Millis !

Hello, I want to say hi to all the Millis drivers out there! If all goes well i will be one of you next year

I have been working in the Telecom field for 15 years. The technology has changed(cell phones) so fast that i dont feel there is much job security in this field....also the "Bean Counters" seem to be running the show. Now i realize they have to run a business but when it is at the expense of the customers( leaving elderly out of service for weeks) then my time here has come to an end!!!

Having said that.. i have been on the hunt for a new careear and have always wanted to drive OTR so ive been scouring the boards to learn as much about the industry as i can before jumping in.

I have found that it can be very challenging being away from family, dealing with 4 wheelers, shippers,recievers..and some times your employers. But, as with any company they have thier good and bad!

I am really excited to join Millis. They seem to give you the tools to be successful and to do the job. Also the banter here on the forum amongst you guys is great..seems like a family!

I am very happy that my application was approved this week and on Jan 23 2012 i will be in Ohio training with Millis. Whooo hooo!
