You are going to have to wait around 4 years. Have to be 21 to obtain a CDL.
-
I thought so, but why... lol i want to drive next year
-
Ask Uncle Sam. But do you think you would be ready at 18 to run an a big rig down today's major highways?
-
You can get a CDL at 18 but you can't travel interstate with it. Meaning you can't leave your state.
Freebird135 Thanks this. -

Yes I am ready,
I've Drove My Uncle's Semi Before, and also
I've Been Driving Since I Was 12

But Which Company Is Good To Drive With?
CR England & Prime Is So Far The Best I heard
I'm leaning towards Prime -
If you're dead set on driving what you should do is find a company that will hire you at 18 and then go to school. You can get out there and hit the bricks to find a company. If you get lucky then you'll want to gain clean experience so when you do turn 21 you're not locked into the lower paying crap jobs like with the huge companies or the terrible 5.
It's much better to design trucks than to drive them. -

What do you mean terrible 5?
and is prime one of the companies who will get low paid jobs?
or CR England? -
now, I'm confused about one thing,
is it true that if you are a company driver what exactly does that mean?
and one stupid question
do you subtract the gas you buy to get somewhere
or does the company pay for gas?
