Hello new guy here, question regarding car hauling "not for hire"

I think its worth about half of their asking price.

 

I stopped by on my way back to Texas from Maine and looked at the above truck in Minnesota, yes he wants too much for it.
Question,
I'd like to form a relationship with an owner operator to haul trucks for me occasionally from the Portland OR area to Austin TX area. What's the best way to go about finding an owner op? PM me if you would like. I'm a straight up guy, no BS and I pay in Cash.
