Hi, I'm new to trucking. Paid my way through trucking school, did really well there, got my CDL and 3 endorsements all at 1st try. Have orientation with SWIFT coming up soon. Joined this forum today, but have been reading all the valuable info off of here for months now. I want to thank all the experienced drivers who have given advice to newbies like me. I can almost understand how nerve wrecking it can be to have clueless people get in a truck and share the road with you. I'm aware of that and will do my best to relieve that worry atleast on my part.
I've been driving manual cars since I was about 8 or 9 yrs old. May be new to trucking, but not to driving vehicles. With the exception of 1 point on my H6 I have no other defects on my driving record and the point is being purged as of last week since it did not envolve suspension and was over 5 and 1/2 years ago. I'm a good student, very patient and alert to safety matters. I know this may seem just like a rookie, but I'm aiming for the million mile club and a long career in trucking regardless of all the downsides that have been mentioned on this forum. Been dreaming of driving trucks and buses since I was a little kid and to me this is finally doing what I've been dreaming about for so long. So that's the introduction to me as requested.
Thank you for reading my introduction.

I love deserts. The more hot and dry they are, the more I love them!
