Thought it was time to join up here. Have been a lurker for awhile. I was a tanker yanker for 3 years and the wife had my son, being that she's a nurse and make twice what I do I quit and been at home for the last 2 years playing mommy. Well it's time to climb back up in a truck, so I called up my old boss and he said he would put me back to work. I lost my tanker and gonna run a mixer for now.

Hello to you.
So tell us , is playing mommy harder than being a tanker yanker?
I think drivers often don't know what it takes to be the mommy. -
Yes and no. The pay sucks. The hours are 24/7. Your boss poops his pant, can't talk and sometimes will barf all over for no reason.
A typical day for him is ---up at 630am--nap around 1pm and bed time is about 9pm. Its full time for sure cause now that he up and running it's hard to do laudry/dishes/mow the yard or anything else because he thinks he needs to help. So the "chores" get done while he is sleeping. And don't that we have to somewhat quiet cause momma is sleeping cause she works nights. But I'd say it's been the best 2 years of my life. -
Being a full time mommy, working 40 hours a week and being married to a trucker is the hardest of all jobs!!
