HELP!!! '13 Volvo D13 shakes & power loss at 1,600 RPM

    Hopefully that warranty is worth more than the paper it’s written on.. many don’t cover injectors

    Will look into changing em out.
    Not seen any smoke Directly yet, but the stack is passg side, you know...

    Thx for your reply. Are 6 injector replacements expensive? Apprx cost? Are they as easily changed like spark plugs, or can a shade tree mech do em in short time???

    Thx, yes most gears. Eaton 13 spd.
    Lower gears I'm in and out of too quickly to notice.

    Still curious why anyone is trying to get over 1600 rpms out of a motor designed to run sub 1450?

    You are getting less HP and Torque over 1500. Might explain the power loss.

    So, mine can go to 2150, should I just rap it up for the heck of it? No, you run an engine where it makes power and torque.

    What’s the torque curve? You can make 1000hp at 2200, but with little or no torque it’s pointless to take it there.
