    Hey All,
I have been reading thousands of posts on here for the past few weeks (Lurking) and I am finding more and more questions for myself than answers. There is so much knowledge to soak up, and B.S. to filter out. So being a noob, 1st post and asking for the world, please bare in mind these questions ( and hopefully great responses) are for a life changing decision. With that said, I thank y'all in advance.

    Here goes...
I was working out of town (Non-driving job) for the past few months and my wife and I both realized we enjoy not being under the same roof, we came to a civil understanding and it looks like we should have a simple divorce. No she makes GREAT money and can support the household without a problem. However I will be struggling to cover rent, car payment, etc. without having a roommate and don't want to have my visitation with my daughter in that arrangement. So I have always wanted to drive and thought this would be the perfect time to make the leap. I figure I can drive OTR and save my time off to go on little vacations with my daughter every 6 weeks to 2 months. Have a great time with her and not support a household I will never be in or cant afford.

So looking into schools and companies that have paid training. I get some conflicting reports, could someone steer me into a direction of companies that really want me to drive for them vs. screwing me every time I turn around and owe them 5-7k when I cant take it. I also want a company that will let me idle when its hot or cold and not treat me like a thief. I would love to have a fridge,XM and TV or the ability to put mine in a company truck.

    It boils down to...
    1. Am I choosing this career for the right reason in your opinion?
    2. Is it possible to get in with a company as a rookie and have (or add)the creature comforts to my truck? ( I do know I can stick it out in a stripped truck for a year and jump ship but it will make it easier)

If you answer yes to those then PLEASE TELL ME WHERE. Or can someone post a list of the top 5 companies that have paid training (Seems like the industry changes really fast and info gets outdated )

Again..Thanks a bunch and sorry for the long first post.
