HELP Broke down Cookeville, TN Anyne have anythng to say about this shop?

Unless it has to be done immediately call truckpro in Cookeville in the morning & ask for james. His the manager & ask for recommendations on a good shop,he is honest & will send you to a good one.

 

If you had your own parts sent to their shop you took some of the $ away from them on mark/up from parts sold so watch for some hours sliped in to make up the loss? will they ck. end play and bearing wear before install or is it a bolt up an fill up with gear oil then truck on down the road?

 

That's true on the parts. Maybe should of checked around before settling on them,unless he was sitting on the side of the road,then something had to be done.

 

Better Business Bureau. You don't have a lot of options, and everybody knows it. Good luck with that used axle assembly. Same final drive ratio, I hope? You could call a dealer shop for a base quote - they use a flat rate manual for a lot of repairs that don't require data analysis.

 

Call one of the trucking companies there and see where they would recommend.

 

I look it at it this way. When you brake down on the road, have lube ready and bend over.
