If you had your own parts sent to their shop you took some of the $ away from them on mark/up from parts sold so watch for some hours sliped in to make up the loss? will they ck. end play and bearing wear before install or is it a bolt up an fill up with gear oil then truck on down the road?

Better Business Bureau. You don't have a lot of options, and everybody knows it. Good luck with that used axle assembly. Same final drive ratio, I hope? You could call a dealer shop for a base quote - they use a flat rate manual for a lot of repairs that don't require data analysis.

Call one of the trucking companies there and see where they would recommend.

I look it at it this way. When you brake down on the road, have lube ready and bend over.
