Hello everybody
My 2009 cascadia is building to much air, up to 160 PSI.
Any ideas or suggestion MUCH APPRECIATED!!!!!

Now that I think about it, if this is a remote or compressor mounted governor, you should have 2 air lines going to it. 1 goes to the air dryer and the other comes from and air tank. Make sure the one from the air tank is getting air from the tank. If that line gets pinched, melted or leaks, the governor wont kick out at the right pressure.
Most of the time, it is the bad governor though. -
check unloader too)
BTW on newer trucks governor may be integrated to air processing unit (air governor + air dryer + four vay protection valve
Fist I do if compressor overbuilds air - I remove unloader line from compressor and check does it blows air if pressure goes over 125-140 PSI, if yes - stuck unloader, if not - bad governor -
Did the safeties blow on the tanks?! Should check them too if they didn't.....
