Help can't decide what to do. Have a 2012 pete mx13 needs $15k roughly already put 20k in this year

    Have you considered sourcing the parts and doing the work yourself? Are you confident in the shop that diagnosed your issues? It seems a bit strange to have all of those components go bad at the same time. I'd start by testing the EGR valve and replacing it if needed. Then I would address the DOC and DPF if that doesn't fix it. From what I've experienced, a faulty EGR valve can cause high soot and NOx codes. Unless your filters are cracked, or the catalyst coating on the DOC is bad, you shouldn't have to replace them.

    If your truck is otherwise running fine, it might not be so bad to keep it. For all you know, you might be inheriting a similar problem or worse on another truck.
