Well Egr out of calibration code rarely has anything to do with injector wiring since they are connected on completely different circuits, although there is small posibility that an egr getting stuck open a little bit could cause some kind of mess up mechanical and electricaly. If this only happened once i wouldn't really worried about the injector codes if this happens on a regular basis then i would start by replacing the egr and make sure that is working properly. as far as injectors go it is really rare that all three injectors go bad at once it's probably just one causing all the problems to find out which one it is, that's a ##### cuz you have to unplug them one by one and see where the problem is coming from. I hope this helps if you need anything else let me know

Thanks Nasriza, I disconnected injector by injector to see witch one is not working and still working on 3 cylinders. Nothing that I can do, I towed the truck to dealer. Monday they will see it.

probably they will hit you up for new injectors and wiring harness as well as egr so you better brace yourself for that bill.

problem is with a lot of dealers if they can't find the problem 100% they suggest you replace anything and everything that can cause that problem. This is the sad part, cuz no one want to think anymore and they end up charging a #### ton of money. it's ridiculous

I don't know your experience with dealerships but if I remember right you are around Chicago. I am very aware of the local dealership in that area failings in the diagnosis of trucks. M&K trucks has about a 78% comeback rate due to diag failure. My dealership is running at 2%...actually a smidge less. The master techs diag and if there is a problem they hold court to discuss. Also, where many problems arise is that shops pay flat rate so the tech hauls ### to complete a job rather than slow down a little and avoid stupid mistakes. Techs are paid hourly and efficiency is monitored. Mistakes are at a minimum here. I see workmanship issues in my shop frequently from other shops and almost all are stupid mistakes. Back to diag issue that need to beat the flag rate also leads to a diag failure as well, that is why some quote out a ton of parts..that fix it till it runs mentality..see it a lot

Yes, that right all about of dealerships, dealers and truckstop are the last option on reparations. I usually take my truck to Russian mechanics at Chicago area, but know unfortunately, I'm so far away of Chicago. I haven't option and see how they put me back on highway. I'm loaded and need do the delivery.

That is very true for Chicagoland I don't know why it happens cuz people are waiting a long time and pay a lot of money for people just to throw parts at it. It's very sad I know dealer outside of chicagoland are much better but I have seen a lot around of work that was done at a dealer or dealer couldn't figure it out and it is sad when you see how much they paid to get the work done. I just had a customer in sat that they charged him 4 HRS in Tennesse to replace the steering tilt cable and couldn't even get it done but he was told that colum was messed up and still had to pay the 4 hrs. I got it done in 1 and he was looking at me like how is that possible.
