help finding good scholl in illinois

Check out Eagle Training Services, they have a school in Rockford and one in Lake In the Hills which is about ten minutes north of Elgin. They are $1000/wk, base course is 4 weeks but if you already have your permit they will probably let you skip the first week. They are also recruited from by Werner, TMC, Swift, Transport America, Roehl and Menards. All I can say is I'm real glad I found them, saved me two weeks and thousads of dollars over the other options. Most of the graduates seem to go to Werner and Roehl, I'm heading to TMC a week from Monday.

 

OK so if you are good with doing OTR you will not have much problem getting started. Some co.'s have a hiring freeze until the first of the year, but that is only a couple of weeks from now.

Suggest to get your Hazmat do to the fact that it makes you more marketable. You can go to the website for TSA at (hazprints) is the address there you can get all the info you need to get fingerprinted and background performed. It usually takes about 2-4 weeks. If I remeber correctly it is $85.00...........(too lazy to go and look)...

Stillwaiting on a friend to get back to me about what he knows is in IL. for schools..........But someone else might come up with them soon.

I start my training on January 12th with Eagle Training Services. I've been there a couple times already (paperwork and whatnot) and their staff members are awesome. Great sense of humor and seems like a great school. Glad you have good things to say about them.
