Help for stranded truckers, specifically a new Owner Operator?

Can’t afford a ham sandwich so my guess is that there’s nothing to send.

If I was his wife I’d tell him to walk home allowing him time to think over the stupid decisions he makes.

 

Usually on warranty jobs, the dealership will drag its feet. Warranty work takes less precedence than regular repairs. Have they given an estimation on the time?

Is Hub trying to stay there to keep an eye on them and help put pep in their steps? If you haven’t already, get your magnifying glass and highlighter and review the warranty carefully.

 

By the way, if a bearing seized up, the engine locked up. Oiling issues probably. If it’s a maintenance issue, you are screwed. This is why you need to carefully review your warranty.

 

Where is he broken down?

 

completely agree!!! amazing how many fail by not having reserves for a rainy day or not managing there money. chapter 2 will be interesting if he has no reserves!!!

 

Cant you go pick him up? Youngstown is less than a days drive from Albany and Long Island, NY.

 

A credit card for a Bus ride will get him home. I mean really…….. can’t he afford this ?

He can’t afford a hotel and food during a breakdown, probably shouldn’t own a truck.
