With no experience, no good company will have much to do with you. Stay the amount of time it take to keep them from coming after you for money. Once that time period has passed, move to a better fit for you. Do the research before you go to another carrier. Good luck

Watkins-Shepard has a very good reputation. Go for it if they accept your application.
Watkins-Shepard may help with tuition reimbursement; ask about that, it's on their website.mje Thanks this. -
You may also figure out a way to walk away from your contract. I do not know what your situation is but I am sure that there is something someone could say that would offend you. You cannot be expected to work for a company that allows that. It is not what they say to you or how they meant it, it is all about how your take it. Get your panties in a wad and walk away. Right a letter to the company explaining your feelings and just leave.
Or be a man and figure out that you signed a contract and that you have to live up to your word.mje and bigdogpile Thank this. -
Swift isn't so bad, it has it's downs like everyone else. Maybe you can get some miles and experience with them under your belt and save your pennies maybe in 3-6 months depending on how hard you run and how fast you save, You can leave and have the cash to pay off what's left of your tuition.

stop whining. Stick it out. It's going to look bad on your job application with just 3 weeks at one company. For the next 10 years you have to put every carrier on a driving application, don't have a gazillion. What happens when you leave Watkins Shepard after 3 months because you don't like it? Then you get another job with another carrier and get fired or quit? 3 jobs in 6 months? Who will hire you, because it looks like you keep jumping jobs?

Do your time at Swift, be the best truck driver that you can possibly be, and try your best to have as spotless a record as possible.
Once you have fulfilled the requirements of your contract, then look for a different company to drive for, but do it in a respectable fashion. You want to leave with a clean record and on good terms.
Good luck to you! You can do it!
God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!Dinomite Thanks this.
