I would put an ad on Facebook.
I see ads like that all the time.
Something like, I have over a dozen pup trailers for sale. Discounts given when purchasing multiple trailers.
There are guys that will come in there that may buy even all of them at once.
I'm way far away from you in pennsylvania, but if you were somewhere near me I would buy trailers from you like that. There's lots of people that would buy them.
You just have to get the message out and let people know you'll make a deal and you'll have people calling you.
HELP! I got roll up door trailers. What should I do with them?

Salvage yards will buy them complete if you have the title as will scrap yards….if you don’t just find a good 12-6 railroad bridge and hit it hard around midnight then proceed to the junkyard of choice lol. You should be able to get 2-4k each selling for storage from what I’ve seen might even get to keep the wheels

They're also are big places that are sort of like salvage yards but they buy heavy equipment and trucks and resell them.
They are too far away for you, but one example is a place like Arthur Trovei and Sons in New York.
If you find a place like that near you, they'll send someone out and they'll buy every last one of them off of you instantaneously, and they'll be gone in the next day or two.
They will be sold at a wholesale price whatever that is, but they will be gone at the snap of your fingers.LadybugTrucker and Jed2009 Thank this. -
Times sure have changed. Roll up doors were considered quite the luxury years ago. It eliminated opening and closing swing doors, and a huge plus during inclement weather. 10 stops with swing doors was a complete hassle. I've done it. I'd have to think a roll-up door is still preferred today, I'm not sure what the issue is here.

Call on companies and businesses that may need storage space. Construction companies and repair shops. Contact a trailer repair shop and see how much they would charge to convert a roll up to swing doors. Offer up a trailer in exchange for the conversion. Never do business with your cousin in the future.

Problem as I see it; there already exists numerous re-sellers already established in the marketplace who have already bought a lot or two of these units and cousin was stuck with an odd lot.
Since my last company was a local/LTL and warehousing kinda place we had our share of both swing and roll up and a few lift gates too.
We constantly rotated older stuff and updated the best we could find and did some bill board vinyl on the newest to make 'em pretty.
Our local re-seller would already been on the phone offering the cream of his bunch so we wouldn't be looking at the open market.LadybugTrucker Thanks this. -
That's all mail haulers use and they buy them used. If they have good etracks that's a plus.

More than once I had to do the dock a favor and open the doors when someone dropped a wagon and forgot they were pulling a swing door trailer.
Numb Thanks this.
